Figuring out what to wear to the office is becoming harder to, well, figure out!

by Brie
Figuring out what to wear to the office is becoming harder to, well, figure out! The increasingly unconventional environments making for less and less clear specifications on what might be appropriate at the workplace. It seemed only fitting to take cues from the abundance of peasant blouses on the spring runways, and incorporate them into a new sort of workwear for the Fifth part of our Edit No.4. And who better than two women who work together, Tine & Luisa.
The relaxed proposition of the peasant blouse allows for the new work uniform to be a bit more playful. No longer under the constraints of a stuffy skirt suit – a mismatched pant & blazer, in tones reminiscent of those favored by some businessmen strikes just the right chord, especially with a lace-up blouse!
And no need to be overly ambitious either, a simple all white ensemble with just a hint of girlish charm in the form a pastel patterned blouse keeps the workwear look feeling femme but serious. Because no matter what the season, we women mean business when we go to work – no ifs, ands or peasant blouses about it!
Okay ladies, now lets get in formation … well, our work wardrobes anyways ;)

Right Now, You Can Buy an Hermès Cardboard Box with Unknown Contents for $11,500

by Amanda Mull
If I told you that Hermès is offering an $11,500 one-of-a-kind piece that even hardcore Birkin addicts are having trouble justifying, would you believe me? $11,500 is barely more expensive than a baseline leather Birkin, after all–it’s a number that frequent Hermès shoppers wouldn’t be shocked by. Difficult to believe, right? Especially from a brand whose customers are known for their appreciation of exclusivity. What if I told you that the prospective buyer wouldn’t be told what they’re purchasing before it landed in their hot little hands? Suddenly, it all makes sense.
Hermès has been running a program called Petit h Surprise since mid-2015, in which customers order monthly mystery boxes from its website with no clue what’s inside them. In the past, the boxes have included things like leather charms and small scarves from the brand’s Petite h line, which uses material scraps from the manufacture of the brand’s other accessories to make whimsical, relatively inexpensive trinkets. Usually, the boxes sell out relatively quickly, and thankfully for the curious among us, they’re fully refundable if you don’t like what you got.
The mid-March boxes include two one-of-a-kind releases, though, along with a less expensive box that Hermès made available like normal. The least expensive box sold out, but the two one-of-a-kind options, at $4,525 and $11,500, respectively, are still available. On our PurseForum, Hermès fans have jokingly put out a call for a kind soul with a high credit limit to order one of them and let the group know what it is. As of now, that request has not been fulfilled–both boxes are still available on the brand’s website.
It’s difficult to speculate what either option might be–Hermès has a vast product line, and much of its wares are extremely expensive. Both product descriptions indicate the contents of the boxes are appropriate for both women and men, so it’s somewhat unlikely that either is a bag, even though both prices would be appropriate for one of the brand’s purses.
If you have a nagging curiosity and the aforementioned high credit limit, you can pick up either or both of the one-of-a-kind boxes via Hermès.

Spring Has Sprung With Spring 2016’s All-Star Crop of Bags and Shoes

It may not look or feel like spring outside, but the calendar says it is, so it’d be great if winter could collect its things and leave. It’s about time we parted ways, and as we look ahead to this season, spring’s leading accessories go beyond your ubiquitous florals and sugary pastels and, in many ways, enter unchartered territory.
Spring 2016 may be the last big wave of mini bags, as the handbag pendulum has started to swing toward big bags in the upcoming months. The details on these smaller handbags, however, don’t go unnoticed. Fendi‘s newest handbag, the DotCom, is adorned with 3D florals; Loewe‘s increasingly popular Puzzle Bag feels crisp and bright; and Chloé‘s colorful fringe will instantly attract boho-chic girls far and wide. And that’s just the bags.
The footwear this spring is equally as exciting. Handbag cult favorite Mansur Gavriel debuted its first-ever line of footwear, and it’s as minimal as the brand’s bags. Meanwhile, both Stuart Weitzman and Christian Louboutin reinvented the tired floral on their sleek heels. And, of course, we can’t think about spring without giving light to another masterful creation from Aquazzura.
The season has just begun, and we already have lots of accessories to look forward to. Check out all of our favorite bag and shoe pairings below and tell us your favorites!

Fendi’s New $1,000 Bag Straps – Worth the Splurge?
The creative geniuses behind Fendi have given us another reason to be obsessed about their purses – straps! Apparently, those furry “Karlito” key chains are a thing of the past now because straps have taken over. It looks like the fashion house is encouraging their consumers to add a little personalization and creative expression to their bags.
November of last year, Fendi launched their Strap You collection – a cool range of bag straps that can be attached to any purse. The straps come in a variety of design – from two-toned plains to striking designs with whipstitch details, multicolor studs, exotic skins and flower embellishments.
The fashionistas of Tinseltown including Gigi Hadid and Jessica Chastain got first dibs on this trendy accessory and they were not shy in parading them on the streets.

The 65+ Best Shoes from Fall 2016’s Global Runways
The 65+ Best Shoes from Fall 2016’s Global Runways
The excitement and whirlwind that surrounds fashion month finally came to a close yesterday. It can be a full-time job keeping up with every collection and presentation that passes through New York, London, Milan and Paris (trust me, I know), but if you lost track along the way, fret not: I have all the footwear excitement you need to know about from the world’s fashion capitals.
In London, Charlotte Olympia debuted its first-ever runway collection, which is well worth a look. In Milan, Gucci‘s shoes were every bit as detailed and unconventional as you’ve probably come to expect, but what stunned me even more was how Fendi‘s three-dimensional handbag ruffles found their way onto the brand’s shoes. Paris was, well, Paris.
Overall, the shoes you can come to expect next fall are going to be full of texture. Despite the small space shoes provide, brands like Miu Miu, Balenciaga and Dolce & Gabbana packed on the crystals, jewels and studs in the most elegant and intricate way. If the maximalist look isn’t for you, there were also some beautiful minimalist designs from Bottega Veneta, Chloé and, of course, Céline.
